Maki Geo provides two Gutenberg blocks for geo-targeting your content:

Geo Content Block

The Geo Content block allows you to show or hide any content based on visitor location.

How to Use

  1. Add the “Geo Content” block to your page
  2. Choose between local or global rules
  3. Configure targeting conditions
  4. Add your content inside the block

Rule Types

  • Local Rules: Rules specific to this block
  • Global Rules: Reusable rules that can be used across your site

Targeting Options

  • Continent
  • Country
  • State/Province
  • City
  • IP Range

Geo Popup Block

The Geo Popup block creates location-based popups.

Features

  • Three trigger types:
    • Immediate
    • Delayed
    • Exit intent
  • Customizable appearance
  • Same targeting options as Geo Content block
  • Width
  • Background color
  • Border radius
  • Trigger delay (for delayed popups)

Example Usage

  1. Add the “Geo Popup” block
  2. Configure targeting rules
  3. Set trigger behavior
  4. Customize appearance
  5. Add your popup content

Best Practices

  • Keep rules simple when possible
  • Test your geo-targeting with different locations
  • Consider using global rules for consistent targeting
  • Use meaningful names for global rules
